European Fashion Union 2019
From September 19 to 21, 2019, the International Competition of Young Designers "European Fashion Union" was held in Milan.

Designers from China, Italy, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Hungary, and Estonia took part in it.

Belarus was represented by the winners and prize-winners of the Republican Festival-Competition of Fashion and Photo "Melnitsa Mody". Three designers of children's collections - Irina Iskritskaya, Ulyana Vorobyova, Kalistratova Margarita.

The fashion show of the collection of designer Anna Krasner became a real celebration of fashion. She had the honor of closing the first day of the EFU competition.

Director of the National Center for Artistic Creativity of Children and Youth Nadezhda Vasilchenko took part in the press conference of the International Competition of Young Designers "European Fashion Union".

During this period, the "Melnitsa Mody" team also visited Istituto Marangoni on a business visit - one of the leading educational institutions in the field of design, clothing design, photography, and marketing.

Since 2013, cooperation has been carried out between Melnitsa Mody and Istituto Marangoni - young designers-students from this educational institution demonstrated their collections in Minsk, and teachers were part of the competition jury.

Collections of young Belarusian designers of Melnitsa Mody were presented by FashionStyleModels by Igor Ivanov models of the National Center for Artistic Creativity of Children and Youth.

European Fashion Union 2018
The European Fashion Union international designer competition was held as part of Milan Fashion Week 2018. This event not only hosts shows, but also awards to the most influential people in the fashion world.

An expert jury from 11 countries, including Danilo Luigi Mercaldo, Jerzy Gaweł, Daria Beloyvan, Svetlana Horvat, and others, has chosen the winners who have made the most significant contribution to the development of the fashion industry this year; the coveted statuettes are intended for them.

“I was very pleased to receive the title of Fashion Expert of the Year at the European Fashion Union Awards 2018. For 13 years, I have been commenting on designer shows every season and have been a member of the jury of international design competitions. I have already won the Stylist of the Year and Glossy Image Maker of the Year awards, but receiving a new award this year is an important victory for me, which inspires and makes me move forward,” says Alexander Belov.

More than 30 designers showed their collections, which were assessed by experts from Italy, France, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Russia and China, including: Dr. Jerzy Havel (Poland), Petro Lenna (Italy), Danilo Luigi Mercaldo (Italy), Lyubov Rubenyan (Russia), Alexander Belov (Russia), Bin Chen (China).


A press conference was held before the ceremonial event, at which important issues concerning the development of fashion at the international level were raised. The press conference was opened by EFU President Maya Kruk. "Such competitions are very important and they help to discover new names in the fashion world," Dr. Jerzy Havel shared his opinion in his speech.

The participation and victories of Russian representatives of the fashion sphere in international events brings the domestic fashion industry to a new level.
European Fashion Union 2017
For the third time, the international competition of designers European Fashion Union was held in Budapest. The competition lasted two days and hosted more than 36 designers from all over the world on its podium.

As part of the competition, the European Fashion Union Awards 2017 ceremony was also held in Budapest. A panel of experts from 11 countries selected the best specialists and presented the awards. Among them were style expert Alexander Belov, who was rightfully nominated as "Stylist of the Year", Daria Beloyvan, who received the nomination "Stylist-Expert of the Year", Tatyana Melnik, who received the title of "Jewelry Designer" and a number of other fashion specialists. The international jury, which included representatives from Italy, China, Poland, Russia, Belgium, and Ukraine, evaluated more than 40 shows by young designers from different countries. Special mention was given to the spring/summer 2018 collections “Tropical Luxe” by Design School “ArtFuture”, the collection of designers Ksenia Vesnina, and others. The winners received internships and advanced training courses at fashion schools in Europe.

The participants of the competition were truly worthy, each one unique and interesting in their own way. It is very valuable to become a part of such an event, and even more so to receive the nomination «Stylist of the Year» in men's fashion — Alexander Belov shares his impressions.

The competition expresses special gratitude to the long-term partners of the event, the international competition of young designers “Admiralty Needle” (St. Petersburg, Russia) and the Krakow School of Arts SAPU Fashion School (Poland).
European Fashion Union 2015
Poland, Georgia, Romania, Ukraine, Russia – this is not the full list of international participants, who together with Hungarian talented students of Metropolitan University of Applied Arts strived for excellence on the podium in Budapest.

The winner designers received valuable prizes from jury members:
Anna Pietrowicz and Joanna Organisciak-Plachta from Poland received an internship in Hungary, Bráz Noémi from Hugary is going to show her collection on Med Moda festival in Sicilia together with Oleg Sharov ( TM Shtapel) from Ukraine and Olga Malyarova from Russia.

Anna Pietrowicz also will show her collection in St Petersburg on Admiral Needle Competition for young designers this November.
Amoung designers from Ukraine there were dress collections of Liuba Chernikova, Svetlana Shedina, Dariia Chuprina, Darja Donez, Roksolana Novak,
Rina Budarina. TM Zvaba, KEKA, TM “By Sonja Bashynska” and accessorizes from TM Unique U were also shown in Budapest.

Alesia Koshechkina, Olga Bezborodova, Csepregi Noémi, Paula Fiuk, Nailia Basyrova, Maka Tsitskhvaia Katerina Frumina Aida Korman Anna Calviello also represented there countries on this contest.
